Dear Wodehousians:
I thought I could identify all the Jeeves stories, but here's one I
can't put my finger on. The Drones is being renovated so the members
have been farmed out to other clubs. Bertie comes upon a pal (Bingo, I
think) sitting in an armchair with an older gentleman in the middle
distance glaring at him--probably, Bertie thinks, because Bingo (?)
pinched the old boy's favorite chair.
Anyone identify this?
Cheers,
CC

What ho! You've just described the opening scene of the short story
'Bingo and the Little Woman', collected in "The Inimitable Jeeves".
