Hello All - the following comes from Len Lawson, who was unable to
post to the group.

It saddens me to report that Pauline Blanc died on Dec. 22, 2009 in
San Francisco. She was born in Portage, WA on Feb. 9, 1914.

Her obituary appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle on Feb. 7, 2010.

She was the organizer of the Blandings Castle Chapter of The Wodehouse
Society. Through her efforts the chapter not only got started but has
thrived since its first meeting on Feb. 1, 1981. That meeting was held
in her home on Bosworth St in San Francisco.

There will be a memorial service for her on Feb. 21, 2010 at the San
Francisco Women Artists Gallery which is located at 3489 Sacramento St
(at Laurel). The service will be from 1-3 PM.

Hello,

I know this comes 8 years later but I've come across correspondence between my great-aunt and Mrs. Blanc. Included was a small sketch done by Mrs. Blanc. While I have been able to read an obituary online I have been unable to discover if she has any survivors as I would like to forward the sketch to someone to whom it would have meaning. Any assistance would be appreciated.
