What ho!

For my applied natural language processing class, we had an assignment
to write a program which compiles a concordance. Not to steal Col.
Murphy's thunder, but I cobbled together a couple tools. Reading in a
Project Gutenberg text ("Right Ho, Jeeves", in this case), one extracts
the top 100 key words:

Not surprisingly, Jeeves' feudal spirit is well represented. The
other, given a word, returns the context in which it appears. The
following is for "aunt." (Best read with a fixed-width font.)

Most intersting!

But it's missing the scene were Bertie met an owl that looked exactly
like his Aunt Agatha and thought at first it WAS his Aunt Agatha until
reason told him how alien to his aunt's habits it would be for her to
climb signposts and sit on them.

The Mixer, rather surprised that 'orange' and 'newt' didn't figure among
the 100 key words.

What ho,

Aye, I did say it was an amateur concordance, and it does not (yet)
distinguish between different forms of the same word. For instance,
the top 100 list I posted previously had words with 27 or more
occurances. "Newts" just missed the boat with 25, while "newt" was
appeared 21 times, and taken together they would have the list.
However, "orange" was only featured 14 times...

The following is the concordance of capitalized "Aunt" (capital,
capital), and Aunt Agatha and the owl make their appearance near the
bottom.
